Girl Up was founded by the United Nations Foundation in 2010 and works with a global community of partners to achieve gender equality worldwide. Girl Up’s leadership development programs have impacted 125,000 girls through 5,600 Clubs in nearly 130 countries and all 50 U.S. states. We’re inspiring a generation of girls to be a force for gender equality and social change. Girl Up’s STEM for Social Good Programming provides young leaders with a safe space to explore their interests in STEM, learn about gender equality issues in STEM, gain mentorship from women in STEM, and apply for STEM Project Awards to launch solutions to issues in their communities.
