From gymnast to team doctor! Dr. Monique S. Burton combines her experience as a former collegiate gymnast with elite medical training to care for young athletes and Olympians alike. At Seattle Children’s Sports Medicine Program, where she helps kids and teens prevent injuries, recover safely, and build lifelong healthy habits through sport. A longtime physician for USA Track & Field and member of multiple Olympic medical teams, Dr. Burton is passionate about making sure every child—no matter their background—has access to safe, high-quality sports care.
